About Mrs. Thiele

Bethany Thiele

Bethany Thiele (pronounced "teal", like the color,) is an artist and Art teacher who lives in Northern Virginia. She holds a BFA and MFA in Art Education from Ohio University, plus over 30 additional hours of continued education through professional development course work.

Mrs. Thiele has been teaching Middle School Art for over 15 years along with her husband, Ryan Thiele. Ryan and Bethany have both taught art together with neighboring classrooms at two schools.

Bethany Thiele was nominated for Middle School Level Art Teacher of the Year in 2021. Mrs. Thiele is always learning, exploring, and creating, and enjoys sharing her teaching and artistic processes worldwide through video demonstrations.
